A: For a Physicans who want to practice in the state of Texas, you will require a Texas Medical License . The TX Jurisprudence examination is a requirement for the Texas medical license, which is essentially to protect the citizens of Texas by establishing that newly licensed physicians have demonstrated competent knowledge of law and Board rule related to the practice of medicine.
2. When can I take the JP exam?
A: The Jurisprudence exam can be taken once the Physician has filed their application for licensure which is essentially a form and fees. You will then receive a scheduling permit from the board staff.
